Welcome to my Madrid photo diary day one.
Just to reiterate this trip was taken the first week of March, before the Spain and UK lockdown and self-isolation rules. We were aware of the Coronavirus and took extra care and safety measures on this trip.
Myself and two of my secondary school friends took a short weekend break to Madrid, as our other friend lives out there and we have never been. We landed in Madrid just before lunch time, and took a taxi to out hotel. We stayed at Lusso Infantas.
After we had gotten settled, napped and spent a few hours trying to find any English T.V show but only being able to find a weird recording that was saved on the telly called 'I finally fucked her' we left to get food. My friend found a place on google maps near our hotel called Oven Mozzarella Bar and oh my. Hands down the best Italian food I've tried and the bread baskets are to die for.
We spent the rest of our day walking around the park, taking photos and just catching up. Later we had dinner at Diurno, a really nice atmosphere and friendly staff, the food just wasn't really what I like unfortunately. We then walked to Chocolateria San Gines the oldest churros place in Madrid. We got a table sat underground, warm and cozied up next to other tourists talking about who we skill kept in contact with.
